We are pleased to announce that there have been some positive changes and improvements at The Miners’ 9, formally the Iron River Country Club. Even with all the changes, we are happy to say that the annual Father’s Day Tournament will still be taking place on June 20th & 21st, 2026. We had a great tournament last year and we are looking forward to another competitive and successful weekend. Below are the details of the tournament:
Format: 18-Hole 3-Man Scramble 2 days
Start Time: Morning Start 8:00am, Afternoon Start 1:30pm or when course is clear
Eligibility: Any male 0-100 years old.
Deadline to Sign Up: June 13th, 2026 or until full (Limited to 48 Teams)
Entry Fee: $270/Team, $45/Cart All Weekend Rental
Trail Fee: $20/Cart
Skins: $30 (optional) Good for both days
Tee Information: The tee you choose must also be played the following day.
Under 12 years old: Green & Black Tees
13-64 years old: White & Blue Tees
65-79 years old: Green & Black Tees
80+ years old: Red & Yellow Tees
Dinner Details: Dinner is included for each team. Each player will receive a (1) meal ticket for Saturday, June 20th for our dinner. Extra tickets will be sold at $20/ticket for additional guests.
Lunch: There will be a large food tent available with items throughout the day for purchase.
**Please note that due to the Michigan Liquor Control Law, you are NOT PERMITTED to bring any outside alcohol on the premises. Those who do may be fined or removed from the premises with legal action.
