Miners’ Nine Course Rules
At Miners’ Nine, we follow USGA rules with a few local adjustments that fit the course . These guidelines help keep play safe, fair, and enjoyable for everyone who comes through Iron River to golf.
- Do not tee off until the foursome ahead is on the green.
- Out of Bounds:
- Holes #3 & #12 — right side (Driving Range white stakes)
- Holes #7 & #16 — left shoulder of the road
- Lateral Hazard: Woods along all fairways.
- Ring the Bell: After completing #4 & #13 and #7 & #16 to alert the group behind you.
- Local Relief Rule (Holes #7 & #16): If the sand trap retaining wall interferes with your swing (not stance), you may take one club-length relief.
- Carts: Keep carts at least 20 feet from all greens.
- Course Care: Replace divots, rake sand traps, and repair ball marks.
