DESCRIPTION:Welcome to The Miners’ Nine – 2 Person Senior Scramble  \nWe’re thrilled to have you join us for a round of great golf\, camaraderie\, food and competition. Whether you’re here to compete or just enjoy golf and good company\, we hope this tournament brings smiles\, memories\, and maybe even a few birdies!  \nTournament Format: 2-Person Scramble  \nIn a scramble\, all players tee off each hole. The team then selects the best shot\, and all players play their next shot from that spot. This process continues until the ball is holed.  \nOfficial Rules  \nShotgun Start @ 9am. Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in.  \nLunch will be available for purchase from our grill served during the round starting at 11am  \nTeam Composition  \nEach team consists of 2 players.   \nBall Placement  \nAfter selecting the best shot\, all players place their ball within one club length (no closer to the hole) from the chosen ball’s position without changing the lie  \nScoring  \nKeep one official scorecard per team. Please have the other team confirm and sign your card. Turn it in at the clubhouse immediately after your round.  \nEtiquette  \nPlease maintain pace of play with the group in front of you  \nNO Carts in Long Grass areas  \nHole Proxies  \nClosest to pin Hole 5/14\, 8/17  \nLongest Putt on Hole 9/18  \nMulligans for purchase – $10 team/2 mulligans  \nTee Boxes By Age:  \nMen up to 65 plays from White/Blues  \n65-80 plays from Green/Black  \n80+ from Red/Yellow  \nYou must complete your 9 holes before changing Tee Boxes. Ex…If you start on #4 white tees\, you must play though #3 white tees before changing to Blue Tee on #13  \nFLIGHTING:  \nThis will be a flighted tournament determined on the day of the tournament based on the number of teams.  \nTIES:   \nAll ties for 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd will be broken by:  \nCounting back using the highest handicap hole. \nSKINS:   \nSkins will be paid to lowest score on any given hole.  \n**Please note that due to the Michigan Liquor Control Law\, you are NOT PERMITTED to bring any outside alcohol on the premises. Those who do may be fined or removed from the premises with legal action.

DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that there have been some positive changes and improvements at The Miners’ 9\, formally the Iron River Country Club. Even with all the changes\, we are happy to say that the annual Father’s Day Tournament will still be taking place on June 20th & 21st\, 2026. We had a great tournament last year and we are looking forward to another competitive and successful weekend. Below are the details of the tournament: \nFormat: 18-Hole 3-Man Scramble 2 days \nStart Time:   Morning Start 8:00am\, Afternoon Start 1:30pm or when course is clear \nEligibility: Any male 0-100 years old. \nDeadline to Sign Up:     June 13th\, 2026 or until full (Limited to 48 Teams) \nEntry Fee:    $270/Team\, $45/Cart All Weekend Rental \nTrail Fee:    $20/Cart \nSkins:    $30 (optional) Good for both days \n\nTee Information: The tee you choose must also be played the following day.  \nUnder 12 years old: Green & Black Tees \n13-64 years old: White & Blue Tees  \n65-79 years old: Green & Black Tees \n80+ years old: Red & Yellow Tees \n\nDinner Details: Dinner is included for each team.
