DESCRIPTION:Welcome to The Miners’ 9 Big Cup Scramble\nWe’re thrilled to have you join us for a round of great golf\, camaraderie\, food and prizes.\nWhether you’re here to compete or just enjoy golf and good company\, we hope this\ntournament brings smiles\, memories\, and maybe even a few birdies! \nTournament Format: 4-Person Scramble\nIn a scramble\, all players tee off on each hole. The team then selects the best shot and\nall players play their next shot from that spot. This process continues until the ball is\nholed. \nOfficial Rules\nShotgun Start @ 9am. Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in.\nTeam Composition:\nEach team consists of 4 players.\nBall Placement:\nAfter selecting the best shot\, all players place their ball within one club length (no\ncloser to the hole) from the chosen ball’s position without changing the lie \nScoring\nKeep one official scorecard per team. Please have the other team confirm and\nsign your card. Turn it in at the clubhouse immediately after your round. \nEtiquette\nPlease maintain pace of play with the group in front of you\nNO Carts in Long Grass areas \nHole Proxies\nClosest to pin Hole 5/14\n– Ball must be on putting green surface\nLongest Putt on Hole 9/18\n– Ball must be on putting green surface\nClosest to the Keg on Hole 4/13\n– Person with a ball closest to the keg in the fairway wins a round of drinks\nfor the team following the tournament. Ball does not have to be used by\nteam to win. \nTee Boxes By Age:\nAll male golfers under the age of 70 play from the White/Blue tees. Male golfers 70+\nplay from the Green/Black tees.\nAll women golfers play from the Red/Yellow tees.\nYou must complete your 9 holes before changing Tee Boxes. Ex…If you start on #4\nwhite tees\, you must play though #3 white tees before changing to Blue Tee on #13 \nTIES:\nFlighted Tournament determined by how many team entries \nAll ties for 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd will be broken by:\nCounting back using the highest handicap hole. \nSKINS:\nSkins will be determined after the round and paid out to each team. \nFOOD:\nOur outdoor grill will be open to purchase brats and burgers starting at 11am-1pm.\nTournament meal to be served immediately following the end of play\, approx 2:30pm
