SUMMARY:2 Man Senior Ryder Cup Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to The Miners’ Nine – 2 Person Senior Ryder Cup Tournament \nWe’re thrilled to have you join us for a round of great golf\, camaraderie\, food and competition. Whether you’re here to compete or just enjoy golf and good company\, we hope this tournament brings smiles\, memories\, and maybe even a few birdies!  \nTournament Format: 2-Person Ryder Cup Format \nHoles 1-6 play as a Alternate Shot – First player tees off\, second player hits from 1st players location and so on until holed out. \nHoles 7-12 play as Best Ball – Both teammates play their own ball and take the lowest score between the 2 scores. \nHoles 13-18 play as Scramble – Both players tee off and choose which ball to use.  This continues until holed out. \nOfficial Rules  \nShotgun Start @ 9am. Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in.  \nLunch will be available for purchase from our grill served during the round starting at 11am  \nTeam Composition  \nEach team consists of 2 players.   \nScoring  \nKeep one official scorecard per team. Please have the other team confirm and sign your card. Turn it in at the clubhouse immediately after your round.  \nEtiquette  \nPlease maintain pace of play with the group in front of you  \nNO Carts in Long Grass areas  \nHole Proxies  \nClosest to pin Hole 5/14\, 8/17  \nLongest Putt on Hole 9/18  \nMulligans for purchase – $10 team/2 mulligans  \nTee Boxes By Age:  \nMen up to 65 plays from White/Blues  \n65-80 plays from Green/Black  \n80+ from Red/Yellow  \nFLIGHTING:  \nThis will be a flighted tournament determined on the day of the tournament based on the number of teams.  \nTIES:   \nAll ties for 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd will be broken by:  \nCounting back using the highest handicap hole. \nSKINS:   \nSkins will be paid to lowest score on any given hole.  \n**Please note that due to the Michigan Liquor Control Law\, you are NOT PERMITTED to bring any outside alcohol on the premises. Those who do may be fined or removed from the premises with legal action.
